Back in the land of the English, we first visited St. Michael's caves. While a bit touristy it was really quite beautiful inside. And here we encountered our Gibraltar monkeys.

This was our second visit to Gibraltar so we know they can be tricky so we kept our distance.

We spent time in the tower of the Fortress. As much of the areas near the Med, the fortress was built by the Moors around 1000. Not too much is left except the tower which has fantastic views over the city.

We toured through the city to Gorham's Cave Complex. The caves have provided major significance in understanding the global story of human evolution and adaptation. Gorham's and Vanguard Caves have been archaeologically excavated over the past 26 years, and results have shown that Gibraltar was last refuge for the Neanderthals around 32,000 years ago.

We then had a wine & tapas tasting.

Back on board we took another cooking class this time making Pollo en Pepitoria and Arroz con Leche. Interesting how we used almonds and egg yoke to thicken the chicken recipe. I enjoyed the Arroz con Leche but David is still not a fan of rice pudding, even one he created.
